Catalog description

Cadets study the role of military leadership in a democratic society, societal attitudes toward the armed forces, national defense, technological and international impacts on strategy, and military law. They also prepare for their first active-duty assignment as Air Force officers. A mandatory Leadership Laboratory provides advanced leadership experiences and opportunities to develop management skills. Classroom: 3 hours/week; Leadership Laboratory: 2 hours/week. Aerospace Studies courses (AES-3010 to AES-4020) focus on communication and management skills essential for Air Force officers. Grades from these courses contribute to the student's GPA.
