Practicum I

Catalog description

The Renewal practica involves observation, mentoring, and participation in Catholic Charismatic Renewal ministry within a particular diocese. Practical engagement requires students to work with their academic advisor and an assigned CCR (Catholic Charismatic Renewal) mentor to develop a plan that identifies individualized learning outcomes of the practica. Practica assists students to become familiar with and discuss the different components of the Life in the Spirit Seminar manual, as well as the logistical elements of planning a seminar. Communication will be established between students and pastoral leaders and/or members of the clergy who are familiar with the CCR for additional guidance during the practicum.
