Field Placement in Social Work

Catalog description

Supervised field placement giving students an opportunity to apply theory to practice working with individuals, families, groups, and communities for a minimum of 400 hours. Placements are available in such settings as hospitals, mental health clinics, schools, nursing homes, and social welfare and juvenile facilities. May be repeated for credit up to a total of 12 credits. Course fee may apply. Offered spring semester. This is a pass/fail.
