Philosophy Theological Study

Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to track the major movements within ancient, medieval, and modern philosophy as they relate to Christian theology. We will focus specifically on the ways in which metaphysics (the study of reality) and epistemology (the study of knowledge) inform theological practice. In doing so, we will discover that philosophical reflection is an important conversation partner for Christian theology, as well as a profound source of personal, intellectual, and spiritual growth.
