Learning Outcomes

Catalog description

Students will examine the processes involved in test construction including item analysis. Students will evaluate different methods for assessing learning outcomes. Students will develop outcomes for a proposed course and recommend the best procedure(s) for assessing these outcomes. Students will also examine the reliability and validity of test items and evaluate different types of test questions using item analysis (e. g., multiple choice, short answer, etc.).
