Catalog description

This course provides a survey of the empirical research on and theoretical frameworks used to understand human mental processes surrounding stressors, the physiological and psychological consequences of perceived stress, and common methods for coping with stress. A variety of related topics are covered, including chronic stress, traumatic stress, psychophysiology, coping with chronic pain, and stress-related disorders.
