This course provides an overview of groups, teams, and conflict management in organizations. Topics covered include group dynamics and performance, groupthink, work teams, types of teams, team structure and processes and effective conflict management and conflict styles. Students will also explore in-depth issues of team effectiveness and styles of dealing with conflict.
