Catalog description

This course emphasizes integration of pathophysiology and pharmacology across the lifespan. Pharmacology related to drug classes including drug origin, composition, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic use, and toxicology are included. Emphasis is placed on the role of the professional nurse in administration of medications to minimize risk potential. Person-centered education related to pharmacotherapuetics is also addressed
