Internship in Interdis Studies

Catalog description
This internship is designed for students seeking supervised professional experience related to an interdisciplinary field of study. Students engage in approved internship-related activities and complete reflective and/or project-based academic work under the supervision of a faculty internship supervisor. The internship may be taken for 1-6 credits, with a minimum of 50 hours of approved internship-related activities required per credit earned. The scope and format of written and project-based assignments are determined by the nature of the internship and the learning objectives established in coordination with the faculty internship supervisor and site supervisor, and are scaled appropriately to the credit hours earned. Students must submit an internship application and receive departmental approval prior to enrollment. This course is graded on a Pass (P) / Fail (F) basis.
