Catalog description

Organizations today are turning to training and development as an option to meet todays workplace challenges because of complex technologies, a more diverse workforce, industry globalization, and a tight labor market. This course will provide advanced education into the concepts, processes, and issues associated with training and development. Myriad training and development content will be emphasized such as planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs. Attention will also be devoted to broader issues such as employee development and training for specific needs.
