Catalog description

Instructional leaders must demonstrate a working knowledge of best practices in teaching students with disabilities, limited English proficient students and all other special populations. This course will delve into those best teaching practices as well as the legal requirements and ramifications related to leading a school servicing all special populations. This course will address descriptors from Florida Educational Leadership standards 1, 4, 5, 7, and 8. The assignments in this course include an embedded fieldwork component.
