Catalog description
This course will examine the existing scholarly research available on the international sex trafficking of women and children. It will also review what is presently being done by law enforcement agencies around the world to cope with the problem. It will consider the psychological and physical impact these crimes have upon the victims, as well as the efforts by mental health workers to assist them. Finally, it will examine the efforts of both government and non-governmental agencies throughout the world to address the problem of sex trafficking of women and children.
