Prep for Generalist Practicum

Catalog description

Practicum is the signature pedagogy of social work. The generalist practicum integrates your conceptual knowledge from the classroom and provides the opportunity for you to apply it within a community setting. Students may search for their own internship, or the MSW Practicum Coordinator can place you at an internship site. Alternatively, students may align their current or future employment with the accreditation standards for practicum. Course content will emphasize anti-oppressive approaches to professionalism in preparing for practicum.
