IPPE 4: Institutional Pharmacy

Catalog description

Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) provide experiences that enhance and support didactic knowledge and skills. The focus of this course is directed student exposure to pharmacist practice roles in the institutional pharmacy practice setting. Students will observe and be engaged in the following components under the supervision of an assigned institutional pharmacist preceptor: the medication use system, operations, patient and/or healthcare practitioner communications.
