Saint Joseph's University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Global economic relations are international, political, and complex; they involve cross border flows of goods, money, and services, and they reflect and create power. This course examines the nature and impact of the movement of goods, capital, services, and positive and negative externalities of global integration. Concretely, the course focuses on the challenges of and opportunities for economic and human development, management of national, regional, international and global economic integration, the role of international organizations in these processes, and the consideration of how economic issues shape political decisions and vice versa.
