Catalog description

This graduate level course is an introductory course in the study of pharmaceutical materials for their physico-chemical properties as they pertain to the development of formulations. Pre-In this course student will examine how the physicochemical properties of drug molecules and excipients guide rational dosage form design and development. The course emphasizes the integration of pre-formulation data with principles of physical pharmacy to enable prediction and optimization of drug performance in vitro and in vivo.
