Catalog description

This course focuses on critical strategic and operational issues facing a small firm. In particular, students learn how to raise capital in non-public markets (e.g., from angel investors, private equity, or the SBA), estimate a small firm’s cost of capital, determine credit policies and terms, manage liquidity and bank relations, estimate the value of a small business, and develop exit strategies.
