Catalog description

The course will provide an overview of the scientific method, research process and available methods useful for students researching within all subdisciplines of kinesiology and exercise science. The course covers human participant protections, research designs, instrumentation, quantitative and qualitative data analyses, and drawing conclusions. Students are responsible for selecting a problem of interest, gathering and critiquing current research, writing literature review and developing a research proposal.
