This course offers a thorough examination of leadership theory and its practical application across K-12 and other diverse organizational systems. Students will develop a strong foundation in leadership theory and practice, emphasizing research skills in organizational theory, strategic planning, and instructional leadership at the building level. Through a deep dive into real-world implementations, students will be equipped for leadership roles in various settings, gaining the skills to assess administrative and organizational structures and fostering a comprehensive understanding of strategic planning within these systems. Additionally, coaching is emphasized as a core component of this course, integrating leadership theory with hands-on skills to cultivate practical interpersonal skills and leadership strategies.
