Catalog description

This course provides students exposure and practice with interprofessional health care teams through an international educational experience. Saint Joseph’s University physical therapy students may work with students in Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant programs as well as other disciplines involved in the international healthcare experience. In this educational experience, students will be tasked with adapting their physical therapy decision-making and practice skills to various clinical environments while engaging with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and addressing potential health care disparities.
