Catalog description

Students will learn about the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying various human nervous system disorders, such as autism, addiction, trauma, and neurodegenerative disorders. There will be a focus on the reading of primary literature and writing. Laboratory work will include a semester-long investigative research project. Students who register for BIO 630 must also register for a BIO 630L lab section.
