Catalog description

Students are introduced to the ways in which the behavior, morphology and material composition of plants and animals are affected by and take advantage of physical forces. This course will include lectures given by the members of the Biology and Physics Department, as well as an integrated laboratory section where students will observe and measure the effect of physical forces on organisms in both aquatic and terrestrial systems. Students who register for BIO 605 must also register for a BIO 605L lab section.
