Catalog description

A study of the morphology, physiology, behavior, and phylogenetic relationships of the major groups of invertebrates. Participants will compare and contrast the physical and biological challenges facing the invertebrates that live on land, in water, and inside other organisms. The laboratory will include observations and experiments on live and preserved animals. Students who register for BIO 419 must also register for a BIO 419 laboratory. For example, if you register for BIO 419 you must, at the same time, register for a section of BIO 419L .
