Catalog description
This course introduces students to the Department of the Air Force, introducing the history and heritage of the service while focusing on its development and the current mission sets of the United States Air Force and United States Space Force. Simultaneously, the course teaches fundamental leadership and team building attributes, preparing cadets participating in Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps for future roles in the Cadet Wing and as future officers. Content varies according to a student’s progress towards commissioning requirements. Course can be repeated a maximum of four times provided content varies. Enrollment is limited to students enrolled with AFROTC Detachment 750 and pursuing a commission in the United States Air Force or United States Space Force. Course credits do not count towards graduate degree requirements. Requires approval from Chair, Aerospace Studies Department.
