Saint Joseph’s University Behavior Assessment course (i.e., ABA 604 ) is part of a Verified Course Sequence and is designed to prepare students for the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination, providing both the academic foundation required for certification and the applied knowledge and skills essential for professional practice. Course content includes the selection, implementation, and evaluation of behavior assessment and intervention procedures within applied behavior analysis. Emphasis is also placed on incorporating client-specific cultural, contextual, and personal variables throughout the assessment process and in the development of behavior-change goals and interventions.
