Catalog description

Elementary education initial licensure program course with a focus on kindergarten and primary age children's literacy development. Assessments and instructional strategies for emergent and early learners that provide explicit instructional support for oral language development, phonological awareness, phonics, word analysis skills, reading and writing. We consider equity within literacy education and use inclusive strategies for multi-lingual and diverse learners.
