Catalog description

Psychological, behavioral, cultural, and societal factors that shape cybersecurity risks and defenses. Students examine how human decision-making, cognitive biases, and organizational culture affect security outcomes and resilience. Topics include social engineering, user-centered design, insider threats, and ethical challenges of AI. Through case studies, hands-on simulations, and analysis of real world breaches, students learn to design human-aware, ethical, and adaptive cybersecurity solutions.
