Catalog description
This course is intended for students that will need to take calculus. As such, it contains both algebra and trigonometry content necessary to prepare for calculus. Algebra concepts will include function arithmetic and composition, behavior and properties of graphs, and an introduction to general polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their equations and applications. Trigonometry concepts will include angles, right triangle t rigonometry, trigonometric functions and their graphs, equations, and applications, and trigonometric identities. Pre-requisite: Grade of “C” or better in MTH 105 or placement test.
