Catalog description
This course will provide students with methods in managing quantitative information they may encounter in their everyday lives. Topics will include, but are not limited to: measurement, finance, data use, and other relevant areas incorporated to assist students’ ability to think logically and critically about data and its assoc iations with real -world issues. Pre - requisite/Co-requisite: MTH 012 or placement test. *MTH 135 College Algebra (3) Students will study function arithmetic and composition, behavior and properties of graphs, and an introduction to general polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their equations and applications . Pre-requisite: Grade of “C” or better in MTH 105 or placement test.
