Catalog description
This course expands students’ knowledge of composition and the writing process, with focus on rhetorical str ategies, complex organization, and research. Students will develop their writing processes to include strategies for specific disciplines and modes of communications, with significant emphasis on drafting and revision. Students will learn how to evaluate sources for bias and relevance, integrate primary and secondary sources, synthesize source material, and document sources in both MLA and APA format. Prerequisite: ENG 101. Pre/Co-requisite: CPT 112.
