Catalog description

An appreciation of Native American oral traditions will be emphasized and studied within the broader context of world mythologies. Students will learn how the art of storytelling is essential to understanding and experiencing “story” – and will research tribal storytelling traditions, display knowledge of Native A merican mythologies and demonstrate the “art” of storytelling.
