Film provides students with visual, kinesthetic and auditory modes of learning which makes it a highly effective method of enhancing second or foreign-language acquisition. It also offers opportunities to learn idiomatic expression, pronunciation and vocabulary as well as improve listening comprehension while gaining insight into American culture. This course may be offered for zero units on an open-entry/open-exit basis. The unit version of this course is not open-entry/open-exit and may not be repeated.
