Catalog description

The course provides workforce preparation in web development programming at both the client and server-side. Class covers basic problem-solving skills using computer programming and scripting languages. The class covers programming language data types, control structures, operators, functions, events, objects, classes flow control, syntax, debugging, IDE (Integrated Developers Environment), and software development strategies. The course includes an analysis of client-side versus server-side programming environments and languages. The emphasis is on the client-side scripting language JavaScript and popular JavaScript framework jQuery.
