Catalog description

This course presents the rhetorical, social, and practical dimensions of digital literacies in public writing contexts. Students will learn how to locate, curate, evaluate, and analyze information within multimodal, multi-mediated, and networked environments. Students blend research and composing methods informed by current information literacy theories and practices, allowing them to explore meaning-making, circulation, and the ethical ramifications of writing within digital communities.
