The Writer's Mind - WI

Catalog description

The Writer's Mind increases students' understanding of themselves as writers by learning how writers think and develop creative, expository, and multimodal writing. Students will develop critical awareness of others’ writing and gain experience in analyzing audience, purpose, and genre, as a means to articulate the decisions they make in their own writing. This course encourages students to situate themselves in a community of writers and language professionals, preparing them for upper-level coursework.
