Being a Critical Consumer of Live Art

Catalog description

This course focuses on international and national work currently being produced in Philadelphia, NYC, Washington DC, and/or the wider regional and global stages. Students will view, discuss, and write about a dozen live productions. Students will observe a variety of different aesthetics, performance traditions, and artistic voices that confirm and expand the contemporary definitions of live performance.
