Catalog description
This is the second required course in the human development sequence. Building on social works’ “person-in-environment” approach to individual human development this course emphasizes the impact of systems in promoting or hampering achievement and well- being for groups, communities and organizations across the life cycle. Throughout the course biological, sociological, cultural, psychological and spiritual theories of development will be explored across the lifespan from a macro perspective.
