Catalog description

This course is the second of three sequential methods courses designed for the teacher candidates preparing to teach social studies K-12. The course treats a variety of topics essential to development of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of the professional social studies teacher, including inquiry-based learning, standards-based lesson and unit planning, social studies pedagogy, and learner diversity.
