This course is the second of three sequential methods courses designed for the teacher candidate preparing to teach English K-12. The course treats a variety of topics essential to development of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of the professional English teacher, including inquiry-based learning, standards-based lesson and unit planning, English language arts pedagogy, and learner diversity.
