Catalog description

In this course, students will develop competencies related to general music education in 5-12 schools. Students will build an understanding of the musical development of children with particular attention to vocal, tonal, rhythmic, movement, creative, and technological capabilities. Students will discover how to plan and execute developmentally appropriate lessons, create and implement a sequential curriculum, and build a collection of materials to facilitate joyful and relevant musicking.
