Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the field of psychological statistics. This course emphasizes building models of data, which can be used to test hypotheses, but also to visualize data, perform diagnostics, estimate parameters, make predictions, and compare different theoretical interpretations of data. Students will learn about univariate and bivariate models and how they are used in psychological research. This course will also focus on how to use effect sizes.
