This course examines issues in health care, medicine, and biotechnology. Topics can include: euthanasia and end-of-life; confidentiality and privacy; medical experimentation and informed consent; the allocation of medical resources; and the role of race, class, gender, and dis/ability in biomedical issues. This course fulfills the Rowan Experience Writing Intensive requirement.
