Catalog description
This is a one-semester course with a focus on the study of functional and applied human anatomy. Each topic will utilize lecture and lab experiences using the latest technology and human cadaver dissection. When appropriate, clinical and surgical correlations are made from diagnostic and operative points of view. Instruction is primarily in lecture, seminar, and laboratory format. Textbooks, atlases, computer software programs, virtual anatomy dissection tables, and other visual aids and models are available for study. Applied learning based on clinically relevant examples will be emphasized. Faculty presentations in lectures will be correlated with laboratory experiences.
