Transition to Practice

Catalog description

This course will allow students to discuss the role of professional nursing in a dynamic health care environment. Students will examine professional, practice, legislative, ethical, and legal issues affecting nursing practice. The course will provide the knowledge and skills to allow students to effectively transition into the role of the Registered Professional nurse. Concepts related to professional nursing practice and health care are emphasized.
