Instrumental Pedagogy

Catalog description

The focus of this course is on the practical application of teaching solo repertoire in a one-on-one instruction setting. A brief survey of pedagogy is included. The majority of the course consists of practical instrumental pedagogy training through class demonstration. Recommended for instrumental music majors at a junior level or above. This course meets for 50 minutes each week. This course may not be offered annually.
