Marching Band

Catalog description

Students rehearse and perform as members of the Rowan University Marching Band for home football games, select off-campus events, and other special presentations. Instruction will focus on the techniques of both instrumental music performance and marching/movement. Instructor permission required for 0-credit option. Marching Band can serve as a Major Ensemble for instrumental music majors (only once per student); however, students must be enrolled concurrently in another Major Ensemble. NOTE: Attendance at a pre-season band camp prior to the start of fall semester classes is required.
