Catalog description

This course introduces the history, concepts, and practices of quality specification, control, and monitoring in engineering applications. Topics include tolerances and fits, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, fundamentals of probability and statistics, sampling concepts such as confidence intervals and hypothesis testing, and methods for data presentation. The course also covers essential tools and techniques in statistical process control, process capability analysis, and design of experiments.
