Research Methods for Human Services

Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the scientific methods used in the social sciences, the relationship between theory and methodologies of data collection and analysis, the rudimentary of basic types of data analysis and interpretation. Given the applied nature of the human services degree, particular emphasis is placed on qualitative research methods and analyses. This course is offered annually.
