Catalog description

Applied Community, Culture, and Change will emphasize the applied dimensions of the social, cultural and structural forces that shape and change community creation and community life. Students will begin the process of engaging in their own community-based research, utilizing the community-based practices, contexts, and methodologies they have learned in prior courses. Their individual-level research will help them apply their interdisciplinary learning about the building of strong communities.
