Catalog description
This course provides an overview of key theories in the study and practice of communication. It covers a mix of critical/interpretive and empirical/social science perspectives, including those drawn from socio-psychological, rhetorical, and cultural studies traditions. Students also learn skills for accessing, understanding, and synthesizing scholarly literature in the field.
